This is where I got started....watched all of them multiple times...but you can also ask questions here on the board and someone is usually around to help. Glad to have you join us and I know you will enjoy it.

There is a manual for the basics built into the program. You can print it out if you wish. I haven't checked lately, but I don't believe that they have updated it since the original program release.

I do have some written SCAL2 tutorials on my blog. http://imagesbyheatherm.wordpress.com/m ... tutorials/

If you have any specific questions or problems, just post them and someone will probably get right back to you. HTH

The current "manual" under the HELP menu when you have SCAL open is current to 2.030 I think. It includes pages, layouts and some info for Craft Robo so I know it has almost all of the basics. I read it and watch the tutorials from svgcuts too.

Just want to comment that I have been studying the tutorials and blog tutorials that others have been so gracious to post. Heather....if you get to read this...I printed yours and just they are wonderful. I am pretty computer and software literate, but always have more to learn. So your Inkscape tutorials were a big help and I just created my first SCAL image. By a fluke, I located in free images the identical pumpkin used on one of your tutorials. The support here is awesome, and I am learning a lot just by reading the posts...so I suggest the posts, too.
