Re: another newbie
There is a manual for the basics built into the program. You can print it out if you wish. I haven't checked lately, but I don't believe that they have updated it since the original program release.
I do have some written SCAL2 tutorials on my blog. http://imagesbyheatherm.wordpress.com/m ... tutorials/
If you have any specific questions or problems, just post them and someone will probably get right back to you. HTH

Re: another newbie
The current "manual" under the HELP menu when you have SCAL open is current to 2.030 I think. It includes pages, layouts and some info for Craft Robo so I know it has almost all of the basics. I read it and watch the tutorials from svgcuts too.HeatherM wrote:There is a manual for the basics built into the program. You can print it out if you wish. Just want to comment that I have been studying the tutorials and blog tutorials that others have been so gracious to post. Heather....if you get to read this...I printed yours and just they are wonderful. I am pretty computer and software literate, but always have more to learn. So your Inkscape tutorials were a big help and I just created my first SCAL image. By a fluke, I located in free images the identical pumpkin used on one of your tutorials. The support here is awesome, and I am learning a lot just by reading the posts...so I suggest the posts, too.
