When cutting a long piece you need to run vinyl through cutter and then back it up so you can see tracking errors. Also need to find maximum width for 24 inch vinyl that can be cut. Better cutters track better but cost more. Larry

On mine the I set to Auto for connection. The only problem then is when you go to cut if the image is not farthest from cutter image it will cut in wrong place. Have not been able to get force and sped to work. Have to use VLCD for that. Test cut does not work in SCAL. Larry

Thanks. That should be where we can know about it. I am on a lot of forums and never had this happen. When it says has to be approved then I assume it will show up. Larry

Finally can get a cut using serial to usb. Would rather use usb connection but that was not an option in software. Down force for blade has no effect. Low or high no difference. Cutting speed has no effect either. Anyone with GCC Expert having any luck? Thanks

Do not have the option of using USB port. Only options are Com ports. Using a Serial to USB cable the cutter only cuts a random pattern and then gives error LED. Cutter works fine with several other programs. Have changed baud rates and all other settings. The serial to usb cable is ok as I tried it...
