Hi,
I just purchased Scal3 last week and I'm trying to cut a large scale print dimensions are something like 22x45 and every time I cut the letters go off of the vinyl. I'm using 24" vinyl and down to my last few yards b/c I've wasted almost a 10yd roll! How do I align the vinyl to cut within the parameters that I've set up? I'm trying to add a screen shot. Any help would be appreciated, Thank you!

Not exactly sure what the problem is, but looking at the image - the bottom part looks awfully close to the edge and that might be a problem.
Why don't you try using contact paper first instead of your vinyl. Very inexpensive.

yes, very expensive!! With this cutter, how big can I actually cut successfully? Is 23" wide too big for it?

Deedy, You might try a forum for your specific cutter. I don't recognize the model number you gave associated with a cutter brand but you could google forum ie Black Cat forum. If it is a USCutter there is a forum here.

Did you download the PRO version of scal3?

When cutting a long piece you need to run vinyl through cutter and then back it up so you can see tracking errors. Also need to find maximum width for 24 inch vinyl that can be cut. Better cutters track better but cost more. Larry
