Hello!
I was playing around with my gel pens and my crayola markers - used foam tape around them to build up the size and then put into my cricut. Works okay but not great. I also tried the foam pencil grips, that too isn't great because the foam compresses. I can't find the rubber versions.
I then heard about metal gel pen holders. I'm wondering if anyone has one and if so what you think of it? how quickly or easly can you change one pen color to another? I know one of the big things I had to 'play' with with each pen or marker that had foam tape on them was the 'heigth' from the paper.... each time I used one I had to move/adjust it a tiny bit up or down to get it to work. Is that the same with the gel pen holders or do you just put it in and it's at the right higth? It looks like a metal tube that holds the pen - what stops the pen from sliding out when put in and used?
Thanks!

check out her blog. Her husband makes them and she sells them. I am thinking about getting them myself but just can't let go of the money yet.

I think I have seen comments on them and how they work on the Cricut forum.
Re: gel pen holders
I checked out the holders at her web site. It looks like they are well made and the price looks fair. I know that if we were to make something like that in our shop, it would cost a lot more.

Re: gel pen holders
Hi that's me! hehe!
They are super easy to use, I actually have a video right here showing how... http://amychomas.blogspot.com/p/all-of- ... e-and.html Just scroll down a bit.
My hubby did design them, and started making them at his work, but couldn't keep up with demand, so now my father in law makes them for us in his shop, all made in the USA! They are made of aluminum which is super light weight.
We also ventured into mini Sharpie holders, embossing kits for the Cricut, got in 20 colors of gel pens that work in the holder (in glitter and metallic) and just started making engraving tips for the Cricut.
I've had lots of happy customers! Amy Chomas
