Question about Dell Laptop Windows 7

My dh and I purchased the Dell Laptop that was a QVC TSV last weekend. I am hoping to put my SCAL on it.. 2nd computer. Does anyone know if this computer is going to work for me to put SCAL and CDS on. We have a HP desktop that is 5 or so years old and is an XP. We haven't received our laptop yet.. it is suppose to be here before Christmas. It will have Adobe Photoshop Elements and a Scrapbooking program on it.. You can tell what I want it for. Does anyone know anything about this laptop that they can share with me. I will send it back if it doesn't work to use my SCAL and CDS on.

Yes.. well , I will find out when we get the computer. It has no reviews on qvc because it is new. I usually like to check out reviews before I buy something..

I'm running SCAL on Windows 7. It worked without any problems.

Glad to hear about the Windows 7 part. But I had also heard that there was a problem with Dell & SCAL. Is anyone running it on a DELL Laptop. My dad just ordered this laptop (from QVC) (hopefully for me). I want to put my CDS & SCAL on it too.

I have a dell with vista & have no problems with DS or SCAL.
