Totally confused

I recently purchased a US Cutter that included Sure Cuts a lot installation disk. The label says PRO Im not sure what version it is and have not been able to find any info on line. I did find some info that said I had to have all previous versions to update to pro 5. Can someone help with this. Also will I have problems since the previous owner of the machine was using the cutter so Im sure he registered the activation code for the software. Will I still be able to use the present activation code. Thanks in advance for an info or help.

Just like with most software programs these days, the registration is not transferrable from one customer to another. So, you'll need to purchase your own registration.

There are two version of SCAL5: Regular and Pro. Here's a document that details the additional functions in the Pro version so that you can see if you need the Pro. Note that you can skim through it just reading anything in red and then, if it doesn't make sense, read the details that follow that particular function:
