need help cutting a phrase

I'm not sure my title sounds right ...I bought some designs at myvinyldesigns.com and can't figure out how to cut them to make them bigger...like separate the words is what I'm trying to say. I have SCAL and design studio but can't figure it out. Any help???? If you can understand what I'm talking about lol

You can't separate the words unless you use Inkscape, but depending on how the words are positioned, you may be able to cut them bigger/separately by enlarging the image and then moving it with respect to the virtual mat so that part of it lies outside of the cuttable area. Once you enlarge or position the image to where you can not get to the handles around it, you can use the arrows on your keyboard or the nudge arrows in SCAL, or the x, coordinates in scal to move things around. Make the cut you want, then reposition and make the next cut and so on.
