Connection with the Cricut

I am having problems getting my cricut to read off of the sure cuts a lot program... I locate an image, but when I press the cut button the actual cricut does nothing... Can anyone help me with this???

Hi, it would be helpful if you describe your syster: version of scal (ie scal2, scal3 etc), the computer your are using and the version of the operating system on the computer.
