Shapes not filling with color

Post by dianekallio »

I also heve the problem of my shapes not filling with color. When I first got the program it worked perfectly. It has nothing to do with a non closed object as I am using a shape from them shape file. Also tried the suggestion of telling the program to close shapes. Prior "fixes" did not help. Please advise

Have you looked at the color palette icon to see if you can change that? I am having to fill the stroke on every file since the update. Frustrating but it can be changed.

What are the current Fill and Stoke colors assigned if you select one of these objects that is not filled with color?

If i pick a shape from the library the color shows as the color shown in the library but is converted to no fill in the project although the color still shows as library color in the fill and stroke menu and connot be changed. If I choose a shape from the side panel is shows no fill in the project but turquoise on the fill and stroke menu and once again cannot be changed . Also just discovered the fly out menu on the side panel for a shape does not work.

Did you also resolve the "fly out" menu problem? I recently discovered that when using a graphics tablet, I need to drag a little bit to the right after I press down on the icons with those kinds of menus.
