I downloaded a bunch of new fonts and dingbats yesterday and I notice when I load them in sca I can see them in the library viewer, but the font viewer shows a lot of squares with just a few pictures here and there. Also sometimes when I load the fonts in the sca font viewer some of the letters are shown outside the box. If I add these to my sca mat they are outside the "grid box", but I can still move them around.
Are these just quirks with the Mac version of SCA and are these things that can/or need to be fixed?
Thanks

Viewing Fonts
Re: Viewing Fonts
The reason you're only seeing some of the images in the font viewer is b/c of the phrase that is offered to preview the font. Alot of dingbats only use a few characters and if they aren't the ones listed in that phrase it won't show them. Does that make sense? I have some where I can't see anything until I delete that (quick brown fox) phrase and replace it with whatever character that font uses to display their images. I think you can adjust the phrase to default to something else if you have more dingbats over fonts.

Re: Viewing Fonts
Remember to scroll in the font viewer - sometimes the symbols don't appear in the first screenful. With dingbats et. al., you often won't see a character for every letter in the alphabet. They're not made at a one-to-one ratio. I think the squares are just placeholders where an alphabetic character would appear but there's no dingbat to correlate.
