update design studio???

I have just purchased disney classic can i update my design studio and still keep my SCA on my expression please answer thanks

I don't know the answer to this and perhaps someone will come along that does, but SCAL is not on your Expression (it is on your computer) and interacts with your Expression. If you update the firmware on your Expression, you may have a problem depending on what Provo has done to their firmware updates lately. I don't know of anyone that has come on the forum and reported lately.

Design Studio runs independently of SCAL and it only affects the Cricut if you do a firmware update.

So the short answer would be "don't update the firmware on the Cricut if you don't have to."

If your Cricut Expression shows firmware 2.3 1 or 2.34... DON'T make any changes...I don't think PC has done any updates on the firmware, and it they did, I WILL NOT update...SCAL2 will not work than. Can't afford a Silhouette Cameo right now!!
