Whats the best printer for...

Post by Terimayo »

I am wondering what you ladies would suggest for a good economical printer to use with graphics. I have a epson color stylus R220, but I think the ink is kinda pricey. Just wondering if any of you have any suggestions. Thanks in advance! :)T

I use an older HP All-In-One, but I never buy ink retail. That would cost me $50 bucks a pop! I buy refilled cartridges on Ebay. Find a seller that only sells ink cartridges and has a good rating. I tried the ink refill bottles, but the ink kept drying up on me.

I just bought and inexpensive HP 2050, printer/scanner, for under $50, no wireless and no screen display on machine...just simple on/off/print/scan buttons on machine...plug it in & it works, prints nice, ink about $31 for both. They are tiny cartridges but last plenty long. I guess I did 100 print and cut images with the cartridges that came with it! Many printers short change you on the ink that comes with the machine...but not this one. I am very happy on this inexpensive printer/scanner...just my opinion, and I just make things for fun, so I don't need professional quality of any sort. This works for me. I bought at WM and Ink is available there and at Staples.

Only complaint is the feed tray can not hold much paper or cardstock is best fed one at a time, unlike my old higher quality printer which could hold a lot of cardstock even for multiple prints of the same thing.
