Help with ideas for 90th birthday card

Post by Indygirl »

HI, I'm not sure if this fits this forum but I don't know where else to go. My dad is turning 90. I want something really special and spectacular (may have to make 2 cards!) I'm just hoping that some of you creative peope on here might be willing to help me. I have 2 weeks to make this card. HELP!

Thanks.

To be honest, I'm not that naturally creative so I usually Google stuff to get inspired and to "borrow" some ideas. Try searching for "cards for a 90 year-old." There's quite a bit of stuff out there. If you find something specific that you need help creating, I'm sure someone here would be happy to help. (As long as it's not copyrighted.) ;)

Happy birthday to your dad. How cool is that?

My father-in-law turns on 90 Apr 7. We are having a family gathering this Sunday and am working on a card for him. I found a cute design at this link and it says "Celebrating my 21st birthday the 69th time". I thought he would find it cute and maybe you might like it too. Anyway, the site is http://www.cafepress.com/+90th-birthday+greeting_cards.

You can do a search for two beautiful frames that are embossed and with flourishes and perhaps have them linked together.. In one frame put a baby photo of him and a the second oval a present day photo of him.. Like this one I did here.

90th Birthday party was to be today for my father-in-law. Unfortunately, he fell 2 days ago, has 2 black eyes and is now on the way to the hospital. Finished the card, but it will need to wait. Prayers are welcome...90 is such a fragile age.
