print and cut images

Post by nanya@shaw.ca »

I'm seriously considering purchasing this software. However, before I do, I am wondering if it is possible to import a jpeg image from the internet and then print it and cut it. So, for example, if I want to cut out a batman label as is, colors and all without altering it. I hope this makes sense. I have been trying to do this but have been unsuccessful because once I convert it to an svg file, I loose the colors of the original image.

thanks,
Tanya

Is there an "official" tutorial for this? If not, I wish there was. I don't think one should have to go searching to find something that should be included with an update to a program. If there is one, consider my hand slapped and I would appreciate if someone could point me in the direction of such a tut. If this post comes off as snarky, it's really not meant to be so. It's not easy to get your intended tone across over the net. :P
