Whopeeeeeeeee

I got it and I even made something that used to crash.
This is not great design but proof of product and the new capabilities.

Love it.

I just noticed under the cutter tab that is shows calibrate cricut! Did that used to be there before? I am thinking that might be the answer to my cut n print being off so much!!!

Yes it was there in 2.039. You use it to help with print and cut. It shows you how much, if any, the amount of difference in placement between the print and cut. You then have to figure out how to adjust where you put the paper on the mat to get a clean cut.

Penny Duncan did a video on how to figure out how to place your paper to adjust for the drift. It's done for MTC the the math is the same for SCAL.

Also I think cleversomeday has one for SCAL/MTC for the hinge technique and how to accommodate the drift.

LOTS of MATH involved tho, way over my head.

Sorry about the MTC but until SCAL gets a manual and some more videos this will have to do us.

Text on Path still has some problems on my Mac.

Everything worked just fine until I tried to fill the words with Pattern, then SCAL crashed. So stay away from that for a while and curve away.

I couldn't get 2.040 to print my image so I reverted back to 2.039. I don't see calibrate cricut in 2.039 windows xp version.

Mine is printing fine now...after I downloaded it again...no problems. I think Layers is better that everthing that is a copy paste is all in the same color...I like that. I like it all very much!

Another update? Should I do it, or wait a while to see if there's any problems with it. I'm always behind, I just updated to 2.038 a couple of weeks ago and realized that I was missing out on some great new features. Hmm... :?
