It's like a cupcake wrap but for cakes!
I've uploaded the SVG file here, but my zip with the instructions is too big. So here they are:
(or you can get the whole zip at my blog http://svgshop.com/blog/?p=1825.)
Cut 3-4 pieces for a standard 9" cake.
If cutting 3 pieces cut them at W: 9.800"
If cutting 4 pieces cut them at W: 7.250"
For a standard 8" Cake
3 pieces cut them at W: 9.000"
4 pieces cut them at W: 6.750"
(If you are using another cake size, measure the circumference with measuring tape add an inch or two and divide by 3 or 4.)
The height of the wrap will be lower or higher Whether you cut 3 or 4 pieces, about 3.5" to 4.5" respectively. Use glue or double sided tape to attach the ends together, wrap around cake before attaching last end and attach. You could also wrap it around the base of your cake stand if you don't want the paper to touch your icing.
*Please note: You may want to wrap wax paper around the sides of the cake where the paper touches for sanitary reasons.
Enjoy!
