graduation and wedding cards

Post by raederle »

Here are two cards I made using SCAL and various SVGs from all over. I can't share the files, but I can tell you where I found them if anyone is interested.

The colors aren't accurate, the swirl paper is greyish and the grown is a green.

Borrow away, I saw something similar elsewhere but used a different font, different pear and different papers.

I have received a couple of PMs asking about the files. I'm not keeping secrets, I just can redistribute them. Here's what I found and where:

Perfect Pear:
The font is Blairesque Curly JF free from:
http://www.fonts101.com/bookmark/18937/ ... ly_JF.aspx

The pear I bought from Letteringdelights.com, db fruitbowl is the name. You may be able to use some here with a bit of work if you don't want to buy it. http://www.clker.com/search/pear/1

Graduation:
geisha-This one has the doll and outfit I used. I combined only the clothes and tweaked the sleeves
http://www.quillingpatch.com/2009/07/03 ... aper-doll/

summershorts-I used the hair
http://www.quillingpatch.com/2009/06/26 ... -tank-tap/

the diploma came from
http://svgcuts.com/blog/2009/03/27/free ... n-diploma/

and the cap came from
http://svgcuts.com/blog/2009/04/16/free ... tar-board/

I put them all in one Inkscape file and sized them appropriately, saved it and then imported the file into SCAL and broke it apart.
