It is one of the best features for me.
I have loads of simple jpeg and png outlines that I can now make into Iris fold cuts in card.
Yippeee!
Use a MAC computer running 10.6.7: SCAL v 2.043
If you see someone without a smile give them one of yours!

I just attempted to use SCAL last night, and I had no luck. The item that I'm trying to trace is a logo. Well, it would only do an outline of the logo, I need the entire picture. I have it in jpeg form, so I also tried saving it as an SVG and tried to import it, but I keep getting a message saying it was not recognized. I'm not very happy. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,
Save your picture in My pictures on your computer. On SCAL go to file menu and select trace image. On the next screen you will see browse button. Select this and select your image from your pictures. Press the Preview button and if the image is OK press OK and it will appear on your SCAL board ready for resizing/cutting. Good Luck

you may have the view options in SCAL to view outlines... Uncheck that and it will give you a solid image..
