Need help How to change a SCAL-2 file into a SVG/SCAL-1 file

Dear all,


Does anyone knows how to change the SCAL-2 file back into an SVG or SCAL-1 file? I have scal-2 and my sister-in-law has got SCAL-1. We exchange files, but she is not able to read my designs wiche are made in SCAL-2, so I have to change this in an SCAL-1 file or an SVG-file.

I have tried to save the file as an .svg file, but that does not work. So please help me. And if this is not possible please let me know.

Is it something you traced? Or something you designed in SCAL? When you trace an image in SCAL2, you do have the option of saving to an .svg. If it something you designed in SCAL with the shapes, etc. the best you can do is a screen shot, and try to trace it.

Thanks for your tips en tricks.

I have to learn a lot more. I have some difficulties to understand how the different software work together. Because there is an language barrier, sometimes the manuals are abracadabra to me. That slowdown the learning process.

I’m able to put the picture in Inscape and save it. But when I try to trace the picture in SCAL-2 then the picture is blank. I’m doing something wrong. But I won’t give up.
