Update for Inkscape

Before I left for vacation there was talk about the update for Inkscape. I thought I'd wait until I got back. I want to know is it working and do I need to update. I think I have the 0.45 or 0.451. Is there a 0.46 and do I need it . Are there any bugs in it? Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure which one is the latest version, but it does have one bug that bugs the heck out of me---not sure if it's been fixed or not.

I can't select the font I want from the drop down menu--well, I CAN select it, but it always go back to what the default font is. The only way I can change the font is to go to the top tool bar & re set the default font.

used to be that you could just change the font in the drop down menu & it would stay put.


I just checked & I have version 0.46. I've not checked if there are any revisions to this one or not.

I have the same font problem. No matter what font I make the default it goes back to wha it wants...

Choose your font by using the "T" in the upper toolbar, click on 'set as default', 'apply', "close" then click on the "A" button on the left toolbar. Away you go!

Tried that too and still won't work. I've only tried it with a couple of dings though. I do what I need to do with fonts in SCAL...
