I went to the crop last night for about an hour and all day today. I had a really good time. I cut the wordbook, but it got messed up. There were banquet tables back to back and my mat got caught on the edge of the table next to mine and screwed up the alignment of the page for my multi-cut. I was really mad.
I had a lot of people interested in cutting vinyl. There are about 10 Cricuts going home embellished with the Cricut Head logo and the owners name in Black vinyl. I used Inspiration as the font and everybody went crazy. I also did a wall cut. I already posted the Ornament topper that I made for my friend Laurie. Her pages looked great. She used chalk on some of her cuts and that was very interesting.
The crop included Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Breakfast was OK, but lunch and dinner were good. I ended up staying till about 11:30, so I was there about 13 hours today. The day went by really fast. The scrappers can work until 2:00 in the morning and some of them probably will.
I probably could have sold most of the vinyl that I gave away. I did end up getting about $14.00 and a paper case from 1 lady for the Wall cut and the extra pieces of vinyl that I gave her. She is going to buy SCAL to cut vinyl for her business. She really appreciated all the information that I gave her for cutting vinyl. My friend Laurie might have me show her and some friends SCAL at her house. She lives about 2 hours away, so I hope it's soon.

Excellent. Thanks for the report. I'm still of the opinion that the computer cutters like the Cricut, Silhouette, etc. are new enough that someone could make a big impact at the various scapbooking and crafting shows, and people are computer savvy enough these days not to be intimidated by them.
