Have amazing news....dad unresponsive since Sunday...had bleeding on the brain. Have all been planning for the worst and possibly hospice. We have been in a wait and see mode. 15 minutes after talking to the nurse with a no change report he was up and sitting in a chair and asking when he was going to eat. Thank you for the prayers and keep them coming.

Thank you for prayers everyone. 90th birthday was yesterday. Dr's were writing him off and recommending hospice. Dad's an ex WWII Marine and amazingly pulled through. We are all walking around astonished. The odds were immensely against him. He starts physical therapy. Has lost no function that we can see, but needs to regain strength. Won't post again on this, but wanted to say thanks for the prayers.

I am so happy for your father-in-law and all the family is relieved, I am sure. I think it is okay for you to mention again if you feel you would like to. Glad the stress of it is mostly over for you all.

Sandy, thanks for all the updates. the board is like second family. keep them coming. Glad he is better. WOW, how someone can say prayer doesn't work is beyond me. I have experienced it too many time. :)
