cutting glitter paper

Post by dana1019 »

HI Guys,
After doing a project for my daughter's homecoming decoration I have a huge question. I was cutting a pretty leaborate Warrior head and it was horrible. It was like my expression didn't cut all the way through. The glitter paper is pretty thick but I had it set on 6 and the pressure at max as well as the speed.
Any suggestions what I can do the next time I have this type of project?
Thanks,
Dana

It helps me to slow the cutting down a bit and cut it twice. Check the blade housing and blade to make sure nothing is stuck there. When you're done, I would vacuum my machine.

Use the Multi Cut option. It's under Cutter on the menu bar, it's the last option. You can choose how many times to have it re-cut. Twice should be sufficient. I think I have cut the same paper. HTH!

I use multi cut or just hit cut again before taking the paper out. Thought I would put my 2 cents in although it is a late 2 cents. :))
