I have been searching the forum for a tutorial in Inkscape similar to the Rhinestone feature update on SCAL (I have not upgraded to SCAL2 yet, much less updated the software!).
Some of the links I found are no longer valid. Would someone please direct me to some tutorials on how to do this in Inkscape so that I can cut it with SCAL1? I would be greatly appreciative.

Re: Inkscape tutorial for rhinestones
You know, I don't know why you can't use text to write the word - or import something like a coloring page into SCUL - create a second layer over the line drawing - and place circles along the path of the pictures (cut and paste to keep them all the same size). Once you have all the circles in place - delete the first layer (the picture) and you will be left with your drawing in small circles which you can cut out on the Cricut. I know it sounds like a lot of work - but for small projects it shouldn't be that difficult.
