Armour Etching Cream
Re: Armour Etching Cream
I just did some ethcing with clear contact paper cut on my cricut E and Armour Ethcing and ironically I had the same question to start. I did some research and found the the same info you found. In the end, I did one that I left on for 10 minutes and I had some spots that were not as etched as others (I think partly because I did not coat the area well enough) and the etching was a bit light and one I left on for 20 -25 minutes and it turned out great. I would like to add that I agree that not all glass is equal. For example, with thin glass you might not want to leave it on for too long at first - maybe apply wait 5 or 10, rinse and repeat for another 5 if necessary. Also, I did another piece as well and with this one had the cream on it for about 1 hour because I got tied up and forgot about it - it did not really give me anything different that the one I left on for 20-25 minutes. Good Luck!!!
