Iron on Vinyl
Iron on Vinyl
Here is a logo that I want to put on a Blue Hoodie. The artwork is a Red, White and Blue Flag. Do you think this will work if just do the Red and White vinyl on the Blue material.

I think it would be perfect right on the fabric with just the red and white..

Yes, that's exactly how the t-shirt shop would do it.

This is a two color job with the Red and White. Will I be able to carefully peel off the Red Stripes from it's backing and place it next to the White on the Whites backing and then iron both colors at one time?

Re: Iron on Vinyl
No, I would iron in 2 passes. All the white and then all the red or vice versa. The HTV can take the heat for more than one pass, just be sure that the already applied layer is completely covered by either the subsequent layer's mylar or a pressing sheet (teflon or baking parchment). You don't want bare vinyl to touch your iron or press, but other than that multiple passes is fine. Can't wait to see this when you are done.

OK people, don't wait don't hesitate, because this Iron on Vinyl is AWESOME. Check out these two hoodies I made for my brother and his wife for Christmas. SBYC is the Yacht Club they belong to and Jersey Girl is the name of their boat. I am Super Happy at the way these turned out.
