Football

I have tried several times to make just an outline of a football with the threads on top and somehow it adds an extra cut...NOt sure what I am doing wrong? Does anyone have just a plain football outline, I can even do without the top threads.! Please help our boys are in the superbowl this weekend and I want to make them special posters!
