Must have files!

Post by talanhart »

I am loaning my friend Judy my computer for a week so she can use SCAL and see if she likes it enough to buy a copy. Right now she is scrapbooking 4 albums for her two teenage children. One just for Birthdays and the other for everything else. Is there any must have files on here that I should tell her about? I already showed her the Photo Corners, Ribbon sliders, most of the borders and a lot of the sports related items. Any suggestions?

Definitely the word titles. Even though they're easy enough to make, it's always a time-saver to have some premades on hand. How about graduation and vacation files. Heck, I would just transfer all of the svgs on a thumb drive and let her have a field day. BTW, you're such a good friend! :) There's no way in heck I would part with my computer and SCAL. :P
SCAL1, SCAL2 V2.044, SCAL3. SCAL4 XPsp3, Windows 7, Windows 10-64 bit, Ink.46, Cricut E, Silhouette Cameo

Todd,
Excellent ideas so far....just to add maybe if you have any "guitar hero", Wii, Xbox stuff.....perhaps some of the "you rock" or "grunge" style of elements. She maybe scrapbooking first car, first driving license, prom or homecoming.
Other than that I think you have it covered.

She will have a good week.

I am too late for the Graduation and Homecoming for her eldest. She showed me the cuts that she bought. $1.25 for one and $2.50 for the other one and both of these could have easily been cut on the Cricut. I told her not to buy anymore stuff until she talks to me first.
