I agree with Todd also. However, if you feel unappreciated, then you should by all means remove your files. You do nice work and I'm sure the ppl that you help really do appreciate it. I help whenever I can and say thanks when I use someone else's file, but sometimes, ppl aren't going to take the time to say thanks. That's ok by me, as I know that is bound to happen when I am sharing a "free" file.

Some of the files that I have shared have been downloaded over 1,000 times. Can you imagine what would happen if every person that downloaded them had posted a response? I appreciate thank you's, but it isn't necessary for everyone to post one. I LOVE to see what people do with my files though. ;)

I'm with Heather! I love to see what others have done with files I've posted. To me, that is the best thank you because I know that file had relevance and wasn't just downloaded because it was there and free. I think many of us have downloaded files and many sit never used so I'm much more selective about what I load because some files I would never have a use for, but did I mention I LOVE to see what you do with them? I've even included links and pics on my blog of what others have done...sometimes it inspires me to do more with my own files!

I have a number of things I've kept for myself and choose not to share, we all have the option, too...but I appreciate that new people come here all the time and sometimes their requests inspire fresh and new designs...(watch for an idea with the puzzle pieces, coming soon! ;) )!

I guess I am one of those people who download and rarely say thank you. But I AM very thankful, you (rachell) and the other very talented people on this board just make my day. I do appreciate all the designs that you guys make, but I guess I should be better on expressing that to you. I have been sick for the past 6 months and this is actually one of the few things that lift my spirit up ( cricutting and using the files you guys post) so a big thank you to all of you, you give me that extra push that I need to make it through another day with pain.

I know what you mean about lifting your spirits, because I feel the same way when I am using my Cricut. For some reason, it just brightens the day.

Bit of a thread-jack, but I'll side with those wanting to limit the "thank you"s. I would MUCH rather see people post pictures of what they've made from any of the patterns I've posted. I'm glad when people download something, but it is a bit disheartening when no one ever posts what they've done with it. Especially those who pop in with "OMG!!! I NEED THIS NOW!", someone takes the time to make the pattern, and then you never see what the requester did with it.

I really do agree with you on that I too would love to see how some of the things are used I think it incourages more to want to buy the program , the more they see the better the chances are a newbie will see what cool things there are

I understand how frustrating it must be to feel that your hard work is unappreciated! I know that there are times when I fail to thank someone. Those are times when I only have a few minutes on the computer and I want to download something before I forget to come back to it. I know for others it may be the same way. There are a lot of busy people on this board buzzing in and out as their schedule allows. Just remember they all appreciate who you are and all you do!!
