Here's a haunted skoolhouse for your Halloween decorating. The plan is copied from a model found at Haunted Dimensions.

Now for some instructions & tips:
  1. I suggest you go to Haunted Dimensions and download the instructions.
  2. The SCUT file is four pages long. Be sure not to miss the page tabs at the top of the work space.
  3. Each page has several layers and groups. You will need to hide or show the part you want to cut. On the accessories page, you may want to move the piece(s) you're cutting; unlock them first so they will move.
  4. Each item has cut line and score line layers. The score lines are set to be dashes. WARNING! You will need to hide the score layer when cutting!!! If you don't SCAL will crash - at least mine does. Even though the layer is hidden, SCAL will still cut it. But when you hide the whole group, the score lines will not be cut. EDIT: This is fixed in 2.027 and later. You can leave the score layers visible.
  5. My model is modified a bit from the original. Rather than use tabs that slot through, I made the tabs long to fold over & glue. Also, on the chimney & bell tower, rather than folding the tabs out, I fold them in so they hide under the part.
This cut file is intended to be a base starting point. If you look at the original plans and some of the built models, you will see lots of embellishment ideas. If you build the model, please take a picture and post it to this thread or over in the Designs sub-forum.

Happy Haunting.

- Jasen.

I've been waiting to see what you were creating since you did the sneak peek and boy is it awesome! Thanks for sharing Jasen. Just wish I could use it..I haven't been able to afford to upgrade yet, so I am still a scal1 user. Awesome work!
