Wanted to know if I update my CDS will my SCAL2 need to be updated (wanted the new cartridges in the CDS). Also, does anyone know if the new Cricut Lites are in the CDS? Last time I updated my CDS my SCAL2 wasn't working to well. So my question is if I update my CDS will my SCAL2 still work.

I have both and I updated mine and it works fine. and yes the cricut lites are on the update

After updating my firmware recently I discovered that the new cartridges were not included. What I actually needed to do was download the newest font package, install it and then the new cartridges were added. This may work differently for me since I am using a Mac.....not sure. Also SCAL 2 still works well after the update and download.
