Make sure you are on the internet then follow these steps to deactivate SCAL on your laptop.

> On the computer you want to remove the program from:

> Start your SCAL program
> Choose About under the Help menu
> Hold down the Shift key and click in the About window
> It will ask to de-activate
> Once it is de-activated, you can uninstall it from your computer.
> When you have reformatted your laptop, just download SCAL from the Craftedge website and use your serial number to activate it.
