Pulling hair out.....

I am reading a tut on Inkscape...ive drawn a circle and its telling me to copy it...so i selected it and hit ctl c...but where is the copy?
Also how do you get rid of this darn rectangle on my screen..i cant even move it :cry:

Copy is just that, it copies the object to the computers memory. You need to paste it (Control V) after copying to make another one.

The rectangle is the page boundary, it's better to work inside of it. You can use Control 5 to change the zoom to document size, that might bother you less.

you could also even just hit control d.. to duplicate it.. :D

lol...why would i want to duplicate it?...or make it bigger....remember...i have no clue what i am doing...its totally alien to me

lol duplicate is basically copying the same item and pasting...
