Getting a design from cd into scal

Post by marie101 »

Good morning,
I just bought a cd full of svg files from signtorch, now how do I get them from the cd into scal? When I open to import I can see the design in the little preview box but not on the virtual cutting mat, hope that made sense. There are 3 files on this cd that I'd really like to cut, but how?
TIA for any help/insight as to how to do this.

Open your scal program
Click file, then click import
Then click on the CD, then the file name of the svg
The svg will appear on your scal mat

Or if the cd lets you, copy the svg files to your pictures folder, then follow above steps but sub picture for the click on cd step

Thanks Delores,
Tried all of the above, didn't work, but I finally figured out I had to resize the design to get it to show up on the mat so I could cut it.
Thanks again & have a great day.
