Did you save the files before you used copy/paste? I just remembered this was reported to help sometimes.

This error happens when I, say, highlight a piece of clipart, click copy, and then try to paste into Ink. I can get around it by saving the image but (being lazy and never having to do that with my old computer) I was trying to do this the way I used to. I did post this problem on the help site on Ink and got an answer that basically said this does happen, save the file first, and this is being fixed in .48.

I want to thank you again for your help. This mb is great for helping others.

You might as well save the image, because when you paste an image in Inkscape it creates a file somewhere on your computer then the file just links to the image file (that's why other people see red X's instead of the image). I don't remember right now what logic it uses for locations, but I have them all over my computer. :? It names them pastedpic_(lots of numbers).png if you want to search for them to clean them out.
