photo to silhouett in ink help please !!

please help how can you use ink to make silhouettes out of photos.
my grandson wants a silhouett of his mom for his room,
i have read alot atried alot from this forum and it sure does help.

Thanks laura for your help i have printed out your silhouette layout in ink i will let you know how i make out.
