I believe you are asking about turning a cricut Design Studio saved file into a file able to be cut by SCAL.
Yes you can, but it is work.
You will have to do a print screen of the cut file. The easiest way to do this is via a preview with a dark color selected for the background in Design Studio. Then you would have to put it into an editing program like Photoshop or PSP to get rid of most of the extra stuff. Then you would have to save as a Jpg or similar and open in Inkscape... object to path... trace... etc save as SVG. Import into SCAL and save as .scut. It is the only way that I am aware of to do this. For large cut files you may have to do 2 print screens and merge in your paint program.
