When I was in Grade School, I was in a handbell choir and they took us to Bowling Green for a handbell conference. I haven't been there since. I won't tell you how long that's been.HeatherM wrote:Or the Bowling Green/Toledo area. Lots in BG and if necessary Toledo isn't that far away.

i wouldn't have a clue to how to plan something like this but i sure would love to go.
Any N. Mississippi, W. TN, E. Arkansas takers. I would be willing to help tho.
This would be totally fun.
Of course, surgery schedules for my son might be a problem for me attending.

This sounds like F-U-N !! I'm in IN, could travel to surrounding states probably. Indianapolis has some good scrapbook stores and Michaels and Joanns superstores, too!

I am not sure how many of the stores on the list are still in existance, Todd. I do know that the ones in Toledo are closed, as are the 2 listed for Tiffin. There is a store in Tiffin, but not much crop room at all. There is an awesome store named Scrapbook Attic...with a big crop room in Fremont, OH. They are very much into using the Cricut there and are set up with SCAL and learning how to use it. The crop room holds about 25, I believe. I can check it out, if anyone would want to meet there. It is about an hour drive from North Toledo. Here is the website: http://www.scrapbookattic.net

We have a vote for Fremont, Ohio. If you could check things out for us that would be great. I just did a quick check with Google and they seem to have plenty of lodging.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Just a note...everyone would need to bring their own laptop and cricut if they wanted to do any hands-on.

Sounds fun and would depend on the price being right, times are tough around here. But I"ve been to similar things before and they are such fun!

As far as pricing goes, I would think that the only charge would be your room and food for the night. I will or whomever will definitely be looking for lodgings that will let us use a conference room for free or minimal costs.
