On top of that I figured out how to put my text on a path to get the curved effect...here's where the fun stops!! When I import in SCAL all I get is the picture and not the text... Can somone please help me?Thanks!!

So, I was proud of myself because I converted a jpg to an svg On top of that I figured out how to put my text on a path to get the curved effect...here's where the fun stops!! When I import in SCAL all I get is the picture and not the text... Can somone please help me?

You have to convert the text to path. Select the text, then Path/Object to path. HTH
