SCAL/MACs/FIRMWARE ISSUE--Help Please!

I just bought my Cricut Create and SCAL yesterday. The firmware was 1.50, so I updated it using the trial version of DS. Now the firmware is version 1.52, and I can't get SCAL to work because it only supports 1.51!

What do I do now? I just spent a ton of money on something that won't work.

OK, I have the firmware file, but how do I install it on the Cricut? I tried following the same steps I took before when it updated to 1.52, but I can't figure out how to "activate" the firmware file and get it over to the Cricut machine...

Replacing the latest version of Design Studios Firmware files with the older version so that you can change the Firmware on your machine.
What we are going to do is replace one of the files in this program.   You will need to go into My computer and find your C:\ Drive.  Then  C:\Program Files\Cricut Software\Cricut DesignStudio\Firmware Releases.  Once you have this file open, drag the newer file to the trash. Drag the old file into this folder.  It may or may not ask you Do you want to replace this file.  Click Yes. 
Update your firmware again!

I did exactly as you directed, and the firmware still shows up as version 1.52...
