Silhoutte Portrait 3 - Bluetooth and registration marks issue issues

Hi everyone

I've just purchased SCAL 6 after watching hours of videos about how to use and getting fed up with how slow and laggy the silhoutte software is. I've run into two significant issues:

1: Can't connect via bluetooth (don't know about USB as I can't find the cable as I've never used it and it works fine with studio without it.
2: Registration marks aren't showing if there is no image on the mat.
3: If I add an image the registration marks are in completely the wrong place.I imported a png which I have used in studio. It fits perfectly in studio (inside cut boundary) but on SCAL the registration marks are off the mat. I've checked and the imported png is the correct and same dimensions.

I'm running the software on a MacBook Air M3, Sequoia 15.5. I have rebooted my mac and my portrait so many times I can't remember how many and my silhoutte studio software is not running.

I can't help you regarding the Bluetooth issue. When I was contracted to write a user manual for the Cameo 4 by a company in Australia, I was never able to get my Mac to communicate at all (via Silh Studio or SCAL) with the Cameo 4 via Bluetooth, even though it worked fine with my other brands of BT cutters. Try starting a support ticket with Craft Edge to see if they have any suggestions for you.

Regarding the reg marks, this issue I can help with. Go to Cutter>Cutter Settings at the top and play around with these settings which allow you to freely modify the reference points and distances for your reg marks.
