I need help with making a shadow

Post by CBJPL31 »

I typed out my title. Duplicated. Made the shadows. Moved the shadows off the original. Saved the document. When I import it into SCA only the shadowed part is showing up. What am I doing wrong? I'm so frustrated right now. It seemed so simple and it is to do it but why won't it open properly in SCA????

OK...so I was thinking that since it only imports the shadow part I'd made a seperate file for the non-shadowed title. When I try to import that I get nothing but a blank box. I'm so confused!

Nicole,

Try doing
select the whole word you typed
choose path
choose path to object
choose union
save

Ok. These two selections have helped me to import the original too. I'm so happy! But now I've got to rearrange it so that it'll work in my LO. Thank you guys! I was so frustrated I was on the verge of tears everytime I got that darn blank box!!!!
