moved SCAL2 to another computer and have questions

when i try to cut something, it gets hung up on the initilazing phase. is there something i need to do?

i have been using SCAL2 on my old computer for years, but it would be easier if i could use it on my new computer. i can use it for design and stuff, but i can't get it to cut.

any ideas?

Did you install the driver for your cutter onto this new computer?

no, probably not. i watched a youtube video on how to do it, but i wasn't able to follow the directions.

ok, i went to the craftedge site and downloaded the 2.4.2 usb driver package. installed it. tried it and the same thing happened. any other ideas or things i can check to see if i did it right or have what i need?

It's not easy to know what to say without verification of which cutter you even own. Or which operating system you're using on your computer. Maybe provide a lot more information and someone can give you better suggestions. I only use SCAL4 myself, but since this is tied to the driver, it should be more about the cutter and computer bands/models.
