Opening Multiple Files

I'm currently working within one page and want to open another saved file. Whenever I try to do this it closes out my current pages to open the saved file.

Is there a way to keep my active page open while opening a saved file?

Not that I've figured out. However, one work-around it to use File>Import (or click the Import button at the top) to import another SCAL file and it will place it onto a new page within the same file you're currently using. You won't be able to save the two files separately, however this does allow you to work with shapes from the imported file and incorporate them into your current file or whatever you need.
