Importing SVG Into Scan N Cut / Exporting FCM

Post by bikercat »

Hi

My lovely daughter got me a Scan N Cut for my birthday but I am having some problems and hoped someone could help me.

1. When I Import a SVG file into Brother Canvas all the cut and dashed lines are missing

Anyone know how to get round this problem????

2. I Imported a SVG into Sure Cuts Alot and tried to Export as FCM but it comes up demo.

Can someone tell me if the same thing will happen - will the cut and dash lines be missing?

Any help would be great

Thanks

While in demo mode, export functionality is limited.

SCAL4 can output dashed lines in the FCM files.

If you want, you can send us the design at
support@craftedge.com
and we can export as FCM and send that to you so you can see the output from the non demo version.

Oh thanks for the kind offer of sending me the final fcm file, after playing with the software I decided to purchase. Looking forward to more designing
