Layer Window

Is there a way to keep the layer window open on my workspace without having to command 1 every time I want to use it? Thanks. SCAL 3

There is a setting under WINDOW in the top menu that allows you to configure your desired workspace and save it. Perhaps playing with that and might give you what you want.

I don't know what I did, but my layer menu is open all of the time. Probably what Sue said, but it's been so long I don't remember.
