Re: I need some help please
what machine do you have?
what Operating System (OS) do you have?
basically you design the item, and then send to your cutter. we can't tell you more unless we know a bit more info

I have the C EXPRESSION AND SCAL # 2
Re: I need some help please
Morning
Assuming that is a cricut expression and scal 2 you follow exactly the same procedure you would to cut anything out of card or paper, have you been able to do that ?
If so I would take a sample of the vinyl which must be garment not sign vinyl, and test cut a small rectangle or square - you need to cut the vinyl but not the backing paper, I suggest you check youtube, here is one though it is using a cricut cartridge it will help with the settings required. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6cf7xPqyeQ
So just open scal position and correctly size the letters or words in the saying or shape you want now VERY IMPORTANT BEFORE sending it to cut you need to REVERSE the words to apply to a tshirt or any garment
When you have checked several times that you have the right settings, that the words are reversed and that it is correctly positioned on your mat send it to cut
After cutting you will need to weed ( that is remove the bits you dont want) the vinyl
After weeding put the vinyl down onto the tshirt so that the backing is on top and you can read the words correctly, personally I use a protective teflon sheet between my press and the tshirt as well though this isnt strictly necessary
If you dont have a press then a normal iron will do, put it on the hottest setting and try to iron on a hard surface to get the pressure onto the vinyl - again I would try some test pieces first on a similar old garment just to check temperatures and pressure, whoever you purchased the vinyl from should be able to supply the information on how hot and how long to apply pressure.
One other point some vinyl is hot peel and some cold again the supplier should be able to tell you which
Cutting vinyl is huge fun and very addictive once you sort out the above bits hope this is enough to get you started
