Does anybody know if the deeper Cricut blade is out in the stores yet?

There are some Online stores that have had them in the past day or so, not sure if they are sold out though.

I've tried it. Not impressed. I eventually got it to cut .022 chipboard but as for the thicker stuff that it advertises it'll cut...forget it.

Check your blade depth on the blade housing itself. I just got a new Expression with the standard blade and the depth was set to 1. I keep it at 5 or 6 on the baby bug.

I haven't used it yet to cut chipboard, but I LOVE it for cutting thick cardstock & that DCWV glitter cardstock--cuts like butter on one pass (no multi-cut, & no needing to do *slows* speed), no ripping----I know it's advertised for the thicker stuff--which is why I bought it too, but it does make cutting that THICK cardstock SO much EASIER!.
