Very very nice!!! I've seen tiles similar to this and what was done was they printed the photos on tissue paper and then use modge podge to glaze it onto the tile.. Place some podge on the tile first and then lay out your printed picture and then put more podge overtop...
thanks Sweetness, you are exactly right. sorry it took so long to get back. been busy today. Making a cornhole gameboard and painting it like a flag so haven't got to play on comp. today.
running the tissue paper thru the printer was the tricky part. I had to tape it to a piece of regular paper for it to hold up of course. If i am not forgetting anything, i believe i had to adjust my ink output to keep from soaking the tissue paper. There are tuts on youtube also. look up 'printing on tissue paper'
